Maybe I shoudn't
Well maybe I shouldn't, but maybe I did. I'm still trembling, for some reason I decided to look up the ex. For all that have one and have dealt with it, God Bless You. Haven't sent or contacted her in over a year. Guess it's just that time....And so it goes. Living with a beautiful woman, but not in love with her. Some irony there. The Who back on tour this year, front row this time around.

Hey Rich, i thinks it's a good thing to try and keep in touch. I have often found myself thinking about what happened to friends/partners and what would have been if we stayed together. it's good/bad, happy/sad all at the same time.
From my point of view -stil being married - it's probably not the cleverest thing to do -look up old girlfriends. I need my nuts attached to my body.
To some people it's wiser just to look forward. Thhe Who on tour again is something to look forward to but we must remember the Who as they were too, so i disagree with that attitude.
I hope your "search" turns out ok.
Rich,
It's nice to have a confirmation you aren't alone. :)
I'm actually in Canada, now. I was born in England, but now live by the good ol' Rocky Mountains. Actually, I was born in Eastbourne, not far from the cliffs in Quadrophenia!
Good luck with the ex. Just remember, memory is always better than reality... Don't expect too much out of someone you haven't seen for a long while.
Jack
Can I come and sit front row with you? :o)
Thanks for your comment about my story ...You made some really good points...there is something about the story that is lacking - originality, to a degree. I'm still trying to find that piece of the puzzle to make it my own...but as far as the dark aspect of the story goes...I love that. I mean, personally, I love films that dive into the dark times, the sad times...that deal with temptation and what would normally be considered "wrong"...and show regular people struggling to make their lives work. To me, films like this are much more interesting than anything else.
This story of mine has a lot farther to go, for sure, but I do think it's headed in a pretty good direction.
Thanks again for taking the time to read it. Bye!
